  1. A dragonfly is any of numerous insects. They
  2. all have long narrow bodies, two pairs of 
  3. almost equal-sized, glassy wings with a 
  4. network of veins, short, bristlelike 
  5. antennae, powerful, "toothed" mouthparts,
  6. and very large compound eyes. The largest
  7. species have a wingspan of 18cm (7in), but
  8. fossils related to dragonflies with wings up
  9. to 70cm (2.3ft) across have been previously
  10. found.
